Our vision is a future where women, particularly women of colour are at the forefront of social, economic, and political change, and where their contributions and achievements are recognized and celebrated. We aspire to create a world where women feel empowered, confident, and supported in their personal and professional lives, and where they can thrive and lead with purpose and passion. We are committed to working towards this vision through our programs and services, partnerships with other organizations, and ongoing efforts to raise awareness and create change. Together, we can create a brighter future for women in Canada and beyond.
Our Mission
The role of women in impacting positive change and the growth of communities and countries as a whole has been well established. Canada is a country that strives for a society where men, women and people of different gender identities are treated equally in all aspects of life. However, there is a challenge when it comes to women, particularly those from Africa, as some of their customs, traditions, and beliefs stand as a barrier to change.
Our mission is to create a supportive community for women and girls particularly those from black and immigrant communities, and to provide resources, guidance, and opportunities to thrive in their personal and professional lives. We also aim to remove some of the barriers that limit women and girls from reaching their full potential.
